Nutty Squirrel makes their gelato base from scratch. The milkman delivers local, fresh and rBST-free whole-milk several times a week. After adding the ingredients, the milk is gently pasteurized to preserve its nutrition.They don’t use emulsifiers; instead they age the base in a cooling tank for at least 12 hours for ingredients to naturally bind together.  The result is expertly crafted and local-centric Italian ice cream with exquisite flavors, homemade one small batch at a time.
